Education & Career
Programs in this Core Program Area enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career.
Power Hour
Our club is a 21st Century Learning Center, which means Monday-Thursday our members are required to do 30-40 mins of educational work.
At the beginning of each day (3-4:30pm), members receive a small snack and can get help with homework/reading or if needed, receive tutoring from staff members each day. Once the children have had their educational work checked, they are able to participate in recreational activities throughout the club. In addition, members have full access to our computer lab that consists of 10 Laptops (internet accessible) to do research, type papers, or play educational games.
