My name is Shanneska Cruz and I am 18 years old.  I go to Leonardo DaVinci High School and I am in my senior year.  I live with my mother, stepfather and sister in Cheektowaga, NY.  I have been going to the Boys & Girls Club for the past two years where I am active in many programs such as our dance team, Keystone Club, Youth Power, and Start Smart.  I also have been teen staff at the club for the past year and I love working there.

At Leonardo DaVinci High School, I have worked hard to get excellent grades and I will be    attending Canton University this fall.  At Canton, I will be pursuing a career in medicine because I love to help people and bring them comfort.  Upon graduating, I will become the first in my family to finish college, and I will finally accomplish my goal of being an independent and successful Hispanic woman.
